Abstract: In this talk, preliminary results corresponding to computing recurrences in a weakly turbulent 2D Kolmogorov-Like flow are presented.
The experimental setup and the 2D model describing the quasi-two-dimensional flow are briefly introduced. The computational overhead in
computing recurrences has been discussed, including the scope for optmisiation. Fluid flow in the vicinity of
few unstable fixed points (computed from recurrence plots) has been showcased.
