Abstract: A brief description of the phenomenology of cardiac dynamics is presented,
and a discussion of the difficulties involved in reproducing those dynamics
through numerical simulation. Several models are presented. Methods for discovering
exact coherent structures are presented, with modifications for global continuous
symmetries. Finally, two families of exact coherent structures are presented, as
well as several 'near' solutions, which present opportunities for future efforts.
