PHYS 4146    Spring semester 2011

Grading
Homework assignments will be posted on the web every Thursday and will be due next Thursday in class.

You can discuss problems with each other, but the solutions have to be executed and submitted individually.

Optional problems enable you build up extra credit for a rainy day. For example, if there are 3 problems and 1 optional, you can get max 40 points = 133% score, where 30 points = 100% score on the problem set.

There will be a midterm and a final exam, with course grade based on 50% homework, 25% midterm and 25% final. Minimum points percentage for a grade: A=90, B=80, C=70, D=60.

Day-to-day participation is very important.
