PREREQUISITES

A basic background in calculus, ordinary differential equations and classical mechanics.

TEACHING METHOD

Two lectures and a homework problem set per week.

GRADING

The grades will be based on Homeworks. Homeworks include optional problems ("bonus" = extra credit; it's like money in a bank). Homework assignments will be posted on the web every Wednesday, due next Wednesday, and by graded by a fellow student by the following Monday.
